About the National Youth Action Committee
The National Youth Action Committee (NYAC) is a non-profit, youth organization. Its aim is to be a vehicle for youth development and to provide youth with a sense of national responsibility. NYAC is the youth arm of the National Joint Action Committee (NJAC) and was formed in 1975 during the Trinidad and Tobago 1970 Revolution.
Before its formation there existed an organisation of students aligned with the principles of NJAC, called the National Organisation of Rededicated Students. This body, comprised mainly of students from secondary schools, was highly active and its members very outspoken...
About NYAC
Publication
The official newsletter of the NYAC is the "Youth on the Move". It is the press voice of NYAC airing the organisation's views on many issues affecting youths. The "Youth on the Move" paper has a history that dates back all the way to the 1980's and further.
