The National Joint Action Committee will host an Emancipation rally in Belmont, tomorrow (Tuesday 3rd September) at the Fifth Dimension Pan Yard, Cor. St Francois Valley & Serraneau Roads, from 6 pm. The evening will consist of cultural performances, relevant addresses and, art and craft displays.
One of the highlights of the evening will be the performance by the Maroon traditional cultural group, the Teke Leli Ensemble of Suriname, as part of their first visit to Trinidad & Tobago.
Performances by national artistes include those by; Bro. Valentino, King Luta, ‘Young King’ Jervae Caesar, Kizzie Ruiz, Bro. Resistance, Hamidullah, Dr. Will B, Taharqa Obika, Ellswerth James, Aaron Duncan, Timel Rivas, Sun Valley Steel Orchestra, NACC Steelpan Orchestra and much more.
