IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NJAC to host Consultations on the Enquiry and UDECOTT in Curepe and Point Fortin

NJAC will host its third and fourth consultations on the UFF Commission of Inquiry and UDECOTT, this week, at Curepe and Point Fortin. NJAC has been hosting these consultations in an effort to include the People in the discussion of the critical issues arising out of the Enquiry. The consultations will take place at the following dates and venues:
Curepe on Tuesday 27 October 2009 at the Scherzando Pan Theatre, Curepe.
Point Fortin on Wednesday 28 October 2009 at OWTU Hall, Newlands, Point Fortin
The consultations will start at 7.30 pm.In due course, the information regarding consultations at Tobago and Chaguanas will be released.

NJAC will also present its proposals towards the resolution of the issues, regarding this matter. These proposals are:
The immediate removal of the Board of UDECOTTinvestigation of all possibilities for the immediate resumption of the present inquiry
The seizure of the passports of all Board membersseizure of all documents relevant to the current inquiry
