National Joint Action Committee, NJAC

The Caribbean Historical Society (CHS) was founded by the National Joint Action Committee in 1982. From its inception, the major objective of the CHS was to document and disseminate the History and Culture of the people of the Caribbean.
Over the past years, the CHS has achieved some measure of success in this regard. To have merely conceived of the idea to Internationalise Emancipation Day as a global annual event and coming as we have from such a small nation in the Caribbean, is in itself testimony to the capacity of the human spirit, to transcend all boundaries placed on its existence.
