The National Joint Action Committee (NJAC) will stage a Public Demonstration through the streets of Port of Spain on Friday 18th December 2009.
The demonstration will begin from NJAC Headquarters, 40 Duke Street, (near All-Stars Panyard) from 2.00pm.
Afterwards, there will be a Public Meeting and Rally on the Greens, Piccadilly Street, Port of Spain, from 6.00pm.
This action follows a number of public consultations which NJAC has been holding throughout the country, sensitizing the population to the UDeCOTT affair and seeking the people's view.
The total number of consultations held, before the demonstration takes place, will be twenty.
The twentieth one being held this week in Fyzabad at the Fyzabad Regional Community Complex, Guapo-Fyzabad Road on Thursday 17th December, at 7:30 pm.
Consultations have been held, thus far, at Port-of-Spain, San Fernando, Curepe, Point Fortin, Mayaro, Siparia, Couva, Cantaro, Bon Aire, Princes Town, Tabaquite, Maloney, Bagatelle, Scarborough, La Brea, La Horquetta, Claxton Bay and most recently, at St James in the St James Amphitheatre.
